Duruflé Pie Jesu 2

2026
Acrylic and oil pastel on canvas
20" x 40"
Series: Duruflé Pie Jesu

Dona Eis was written on the canvas first and then my conversion continued with those words.

Abstract acrylic painting with large angular black and brown shapes and energetic linear marks over a white ground. Tan and pale green areas soften the surface, while textured brown and green brayer marks layer across the composition. Faint words drawn in oil pastel are visible beneath the painted forms.
