Duruflé Pie Jesu 3

2026
Acrylic and oil pastel on canvas
20" x 40"
Series: Duruflé Pie Jesu

Some remnants of the word Requiem remain, but not enough to recognize unless you know it is there.

Long, narrow abstract acrylic painting with large angular black scraper marks layered over a white ground and faint oil pastel text. Tan areas soften the surface, while blue and rusty red brayer marks sweep horizontally across the composition.
