Allemande Countryside

2024
Oil on canvas
24" x 30"
Series: Bach Cello Suites

I've referred to this as part of my Bach Orange Series (which doesn't formally exist) but it went off on its own primary color journey.

Abstract oil painting with large geometric patches of yellow, orange, blue, green, and red layered across a heavily textured surface. Larger, brighter areas appear to move forward while smaller patches recede. Scraped marks, dots, and lines connect the varied shapes across the painting.
