Powhatan Reflections

2026
Oil on canvas
14" x 18"
Series: Shifting Landscapes

This is another landscape inspired by a hazy morning in Powhatan, VA.

Abstract oil landscape in lavender, green, orange, and pink, depicting trees reflected in a misty lake in the hazy light of morning. Patches of color and gestural marks suggest energy and movement as the mist rises from the water, with textured areas created by brayer and palette knife.
