Oil on cradled wood panel
8" x 8"
Series: Shifting Landscapes

This is one of my small pieces created with leftover oil paint from larger projects. The colors drive what is found.

Abstract oil landscape on a wood panel, with distant blue mountains behind green forms, a yellow and gold middle ground, and turquoise shapes suggesting a waterfall and plants in the foreground. Palette knife marks reveal the darker painted ground between strokes, creating texture and depth.
