This is the first of two paintings working with ideas from the beginning of the Haydn C Major cello concerto.

Angular, thin ballet-like music inspired gestures in light to dark blues dance across the page. The background of oranges, gold yellows to subtle greens create the background. Numerous small painted square patches of off white to gray green tumble from top to bottom on the left, move across the bottom and then rise again on the right side.
