Some News and Updates
Alan is retiring soon! We are busily art-ing, music-ing and taking care of the three cats. I’m into QiGong these days while still doing some Iyengar yoga. Fortunately my time and body have balanced enough to start getting time back in the pool as well. And no, I’m not teaching or coaching swimming anymore but I still enjoy it.
SUPER Big News! I am on course to finish my Painting Certificate through RISD’s continuing education program in May of 2024. It’s really exciting! I am ready to dive into the art world head first. I have had some really great teachers at RISD online and appreciate them immensely. Plus I’ve made art friends as well and have found the atmosphere supportive and stimulating.
In early January 2024 I spent 8 days in Rome taking a portrait workshop with Roberto Osti. I enjoyed meeting great people, seeing and making lots of art, visiting historic sites, and sharing coffee, gelato and other great food. Puntarelle is fantastic. Plus I accomplished a bucket list item of getting to and into the Pantheon. It was magnificent!
