August Walk

2025
Oil on Arches paper
8.5" x 11"

A walk around Glenstone in Maryland has unending landscape moments. This was one.

Loose paintbrush stroke bring light greens and accents of red and yellow flowers to the foreground. A small, simple white cabin with a red door sits to the upper right. A stripe of sunlight cuts across the painting behind it while trees cast late summer shadows and patches of blue sky peak through the leaves.
