Respighi Pines 2

2024
Acrylic on canvas
24" x 24"
Series: Respighi Pines

This piece is a playful idea of Catacomb spirits.

Abstract acrylic painting on canvas dominated by vivid blue. Angular and curved forms in yellow, green, red, gold, and pale aqua overlap across the composition, with smaller colored patches scattered toward the upper portion of the painting. Pumice medium creates a granular surface, while scraping and layered paint produce varied textures. Dark curved marks and geometric shapes add movement throughout the composition. The artist’s signature appears at lower left.
